Where is my money for the pervious version I paid???

I paid for the full version, and now I have to pay to use this version month to month now because the other one will not work with the files. Can someone explain this to me?

This looks like a scam. 1 months says $0.99 but then when you check their website its a lot more like $19 a month just to use this software!

As others have said, this developer broke a previously purchased version to force users into a monthly subscription. Completely unethical.

I bought the VCE Player less than a month ago for $30, now I have to pay 9.99 a month, and can’t open my old files? What a rip off. Everyone should report this app. What a joke. DO NOT BUY THIS APP!

As others have already said. The developer is forcing users to pay more for this exam simulator. Unacceptable. I would not recommend this to anyone. For those out there, I will see what I can do personally to have one developed.

I paid a full amount for this app like a month ago. i even purchased this app for my ipad and windows version aswell, and now they want monthly fee. what rip off. A big roberry right there. Every one should avoid this app

Very unethical. I had no problem with the stand alone versions that I purchased for my various Mac’s, PCs and iOS devices. This company got really greedy all of a sudden and went with a subscription model that for some reason charges between 5 to 10X as much as their stand alone versions. I could understand something along the lines of 1.99 to 2.99 a month sub or a full year for $29, but $70 to $120 a year. The actual testing software is not noticeably different than their previous versions either. Are they passing on any of the money they make to the people that actual take the time to upload VCE files? Doubtful.

As others have stated, I’ve already paid for this app for several of my devices. It’s very unethical to disable my ability to continue using that app while offering me another version using a subscription model. It would have been better to continue using the the old model of selling the app, but begin charging for the downloads. That would have been more fair.

I paid for the VCE Player and now it is un-usable… I paid for the app twice due to both the ipad AND my OSX machine… now I have to pay a monthly fee and they changed their vce files as well….

Global Simulators Ltd just scammed me out of $15.00. They just updated their software to 1.2 which now forces you to pay a monthly subscription rate. Now my software that i bought does not work. Report to apple!

This vendor sold this product (which I bought IOS and OSX version of), that was usable for me, for almost 2 years. Now they have changed to a subscription model which makes your already purchased versio incompatible for any of the files available. They have bilked MANY out of money and have no qualms of telling you they have “right” to change things whenever they want. I used to steer many their way, but I’ve actually spoken out against it considerably. As far as I am concerned, this is probably the worst scan to hit the IT industry, evar.

Do not buy this app! I got the one month subscription from the Mac app store for my Mac and it never worked since day one! I wasn’t sure about it so I only got it for a month. There is a VCE support which is a form you fill out and email to who knows where. Well, I have sent two emails in three days and have not heard back from anyone. The problem with the app is that it will not allow you access to all of the study questions from Exam Collection. One of the test I downloaded have over 600 questions and it will only display 152. Yes, I followed all the steps and tried reloading the test several times. Still not working! As for contacting the Mac app store; they recommend that you contact the developer. Good luck with that option! Save your money! Look elsewhere! It’s BS!

I know the other reviewers here are upset about the subscription, but honestly this app is many times cheaper than other online sites with practice tests I have tried and there’s way more test questions available for this app than on those sites.

There should be a subscription model for an app like this. I liked it better when there was the Lite version and the PRO version

1) This app used to be a couple bucks for full functionality. Now, it’s changed to a recurring monthly fee - for no clear reason. 2) If you bought this app before the subscription model was introduced, it is now essentially useless with this update. 3) Won’t be buying this companys software ever again

Bought the full version not that long ago, now I can’t even use it with the update since they moved over to subscription. Only lost out on 14.99, but what a waste… regret buying this garbage. Way to sell out and stick it to your customers. I would like a refund.

I am another victim of the scam. I purchased the VCE player for Windows first then another one for Mac in December 2013. They discontinued support shortly after. Then they started sending me emails soliciting for their “Special Offers” crap. Their response to my angry message was just a copy/paste of their reply template that attempted to defend their business. OK got enough. No more. I unsubscribed from their email list. I will filter them if they ever come back. They must go out of business. DO NOT BUY THEIR APPS AND SPREAD OUT YOUR WORDS!!!

Don NOT buy this app, this is the biggest RIP OFF! I have previously purchased this app for $30, which I found it to be a steep price for what it actually is but I needed it, so I got it. Recently I received a new VCE exam and when I tried to launch it, I was prompted to a window alert informing me that the application was outated and needed to be upgraded. Now I came here to the App Store and I found out that you have to pay ON A MONTHLY BASIS at a stellar price of $9.99 a month. (Even pandora is not even that much) I refuse to buy this again!
